Tasty Tuesday: Oatmeal Protein Pancake

I love simple recipes that fill me up in the morning. I’ll be honest. 6/7 days I eat eggs and bacon for breakfast and normally that is complete fine for me, but lately on these cold mornings I’ve been needing a little more of comfort foods. This recipe is nothing fancy but its an easy way to get a lot of good nutrients in the morning.

I made this recipe yesterday, and it really hit the spot!

Per Pancake
  1. -1 Egg
  2. -⅓-¼ Cup Oats (Depending on how “oat-y” you want)
  3. -Vanilla Extract to taste
  4. Cinnamon to taste (I like A LOT of cinnamon, but to your taste!)
Instructions
  1. Mix it up in a bowl- cook in a greased pan. They don’t take long at all, so be careful not to leave it on one side for too long. Top with peanut butter, almond butter, or a little greek yogurt & berries for a delicious breakfast! Yum.

Now, of course does this taste like a NORMAL pancake? Nope, but has a heck of a lot more nutrients to keep your belly full and happy. Just look for yourself!
