New Year…New you?

As it is almost 2015, you’ve surely head enough of the New Year, New you! lines… I don’t know about you, but it makes me think, why would I be completely different just because it’s a new year?

How about this instead- YOU, only better!

I am not a huge resolution setter, but I do like to think of yearly goals, and why not strive to be better and improve upon something. My goal this year is more personal lifestyle rather than fitness related, being it is for me to grow my business, and reach out to as many people as I can try to help. I won’t’ lie to you it’s hard work starting a business on your own, but I’m determined and excited to see where I am in 3 months, 6 months, and a year from now!


Do you feel it necessary to start over in the New Year, or do you try to makes changes as you go. Where do you want to get to this year?

Motivational Monday


I can tell you the above quote is extremely true. We are who we choose to be. The life we live is up to us, so if you are ready for a change, go for it! What needs a change in your life? Your health & fitness, career, or just a new direction?

I’m glad I decided to make some changes in my life recently. I’ve found out for a fact that yes, I’m certainly happier having a new direction in life. I don’t know what took me so long to actually do it.

2015 is going to be my year,  I’m absolutely sure of it.

 And hopefully, I can help 2015 be your year as well!

I am pleased to announce my new programs that with kick start to a new you. Depending on your goals-It will consist of personalized workouts, help with meal planning and grocery shopping! Sometimes we just need someone to point us in the right direction and things then start to click and fall into place. I also offer other workout and nutritional supplements, it is all up to you and your goals!

Motivation Monday


Sometimes we need that little reminder. After some particularly tough weeks with work, and life in general, I decided to take a leap of faith in myself…I decided enough and was enough and starting building myself and my career. I have had this dream in the back of my mind for so long…finally I believed in myself enough to do it.

I took a chance on myself and I feel like I am not going to let anything stand in my way. It’s empowering and exciting to be at this point. Looking to the future, I can only imagine all the good things that are ahead of me. I smile to think where I will be in life a few months and even a year from now…

What goals do you have? What’s standing in your way? Trust me, give yourself all the faith in the world and set out to do what you have in mind. You’ll look back and only wonder why you didn’t start sooner.  🙂 if I can be any help to you, please let me know!

New Directions

Hi all!

I am so excited to finally be doing this…which is starting a dream I’ve had in the back of my mind for so long. I am happy to be launching my own fitness business, Fit Life by Katie. I am happy to finally be doing something with meaning to me and being able to share it with others.

Fit Life to me doesn’t mean being “skinny”, or having the perfect body, or even having that coveted 6-pack. To me it is leading a healthy, active life that you love. Whether it be hiking, surfing, skiing, running marathons, or weight lifting, I want to be here to help you be fit active and healthy. We owe it to ourselves to be the best we can be, so that our families and friends are inspired by our sheer joy they see in us doing what we love.

My vision is to build online bootcamp training plans to help motivated individuals try a new exercise program. A consultation will be key for me to learn your goals and help you incorporate this new lifestyle choice. After that I can get started building a program individualized for YOU! You are unique, and your workouts should be too! I am here to help you accomplish your goals and help you push yourself to new heights!
