These are one of my go-to breakfasts! So simple and the best part-quick! I make 8-10 at a time and store them in the fridge for breakfasts through out the week. Perfect!

Ingredients
  1. 6 Large Eggs
  2. ¼ Cup Milk
  3. ⅓ Cup Shredded Cheese (Mozzarella or Cheddar would work well)
  4. Handful of Spinach, chopped finely
  5. Turkey Sausage links- chopped into pieces (I used Jimmy Dean Links, pre cooked)
  6. Salt & Pepper To taste
Instructions
  1. Preheat Ocean to 350. Spray muffins tins with non-stick spray. Set aside. Wisk Eggs & Milk together, Add spinach and turkey sausage to the mix. Fill Muffin tins about ⅓ full (They will rise!) and put into the oven for 15-20 mins or until they are cooked through the middle.
Notes
  1. Tip: You can use bacon in this recipe, as well as add any other veggies you are a fan of!

Great way to get your protein in AND sneak some veggies into your breakfast- also a great snack! :) These can be varied in many ways- tomatoes, peppers, bacon- whatever you prefer! Store for 5 days in a container in the fridge. Easy morning meal!

Motivation Monday

I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling rather motivated this morning! My 10 day challenge is kicking off and I’m so ready to lead a group of some other motivated people this week!

I firmly believe in support systems when trying to achieve your dreams. One of the main reasons that I wanted to join Team Inspire was so that I could have other fitness professionals and passionate people as my support system. It is what has given me the belief in myself to pursue my dreams.

My hope for my challenege group is that they feel inspired and motivated by each other! They are ready to go for the next 10 days with workouts that can be done at home and completed at their convenience. Meals are simple and give you a healthy option for the week!

Workout Wednesday- TRX Tabata

Another Workout Wednesday! I really love linking up with these girls! I get some great workout ideas from them! 10912598_10152638558488785_954023868_n Yesterday I worked out a TRX Tabata that really had me sweating. I have loved doing more and more with TRX, Using your body weight is an awesome thing. This Tabata uses 3 different moves for legs, core, and a cardio strength move. I like combining these types of movements to mix it up and keep my body guessing. Untitled (16)

Sorry YouTube is refusing to upload my video today! If it ever happens I will update with it later. This was a great sweaty workout and my core is really feeling it this morning. The lunges are a great movement to really work on the legs and glutes! Enjoy- if you try it out, let me know!

10 Day Challenge

You can do anything for 10 days right? Well- that’s what I’m thinking.

After a couple weeks of not so great eating and a crazy schedule- I totally feel out of whack with my eating and workout schedule. I came up with this crazy idea to complete a 10 day challenge of easy, healthy meals, and workouts. I also had this idea of opening it up to ALL of you so that we can be a support group!

I would run this little group through Facebook so we can interact and make it easy to connect! (Of course if you don’t have Facebook, you can be updated through email! Or make a Facebook only for the group- I won’t tell!)

Basically what would happen- the challenge is set to start February 9th. This weekend I would send you a grocery list so you could be prepared for the recipes that I’ll post for the week. Don’t worry-I’m not a gourmet chef so my meals will be simple. I like to use the crockpot a lot and simple side dishes and I have other things I can share. If you are participating I would love for you to add your own healthy meals as well. It’s all about collaboration! :)

Motivation Monday

Hey there! I know it might be a rough morning, the day after the Super Bowl is always a tough one to go back to the norm! :)

This couldn’t be more true for the time we are in now. It’s February and our yearly goals might already be taking a back burner, but the trick is to keep them in focus and never give up.

Your own personal journey is most likely going to take a lot of set backs before you really get to see it go in the right direction. Wouldn’t you like to look back at yourself in a year and think- I’m SO glad I didn’t give up at that point in my life, look at where I am now!

Fit Friday- Superbowl Workout!

Ah here it is! Superbowl Weekend!

If you are cool, you probably have a party to attend but if you are like me, you just hang out at home. I made up a little workout to go along with the game that I hope you will love. It will be fun way to mix up the game, and hey, I don’t feel like going to the gym so it works for me.
